ChocChocii humidifier does the humidifying without the use of external power such as electricity. It seems as if it ' s merely a simple process like towel being dried but it actually involves various natural laws.

Also, the absorption of the germs and dusts, maintaining the clean indoor air is based on the scientific principles.

1. Natural humidifying without electric power

To increase the humidity in a dry indoor, water must be vaporized. This requires heat.
ChocChocii humidifier uses the air convection to provide heat. It uses the cooling of air through the heat of vaporization that provides the power for air convection.
The heat of vaporization of water absorbs 1g/549cal, so when heat is absorbed from air, the air becomes heavier which results in difference in density that generates the moving air convection.
The filter that ' s used in the ChocChocii humidifier is the Water Screen Filter, which is a unique structure that is covered with ever wet, water filter.

To generate the air convection effectively, evaporation filter is erected vertically and the water that must be continually provided is provided from the bottom through a filter by the capillary phenomenon.
ChocChocii humidifier therefore causes the air convection, and humidifies by the internal heat so does not require electric power.

2. Cleanly humidification absorbs germs and dusts.

The ultrasonic humidifier has certain hazards in that the misty vapor that gets sprayed, the germs and dusts gets attached on the vapor.

ChocChocii moves the germs and dusts in water to the surface of the Water Screen Filter by capillary phenomenon, which then gets condensed and gradually solidifies. In solid state, the bacterial activities come gradually to a halt and dies out so the bodily harmful antiseptics are not needed.

3. The toxic gas and air purification that decomposes the bad odor.

ChocChocii humidifier is able to disintegrate VOCs in the indoor air and odor causing molecules by using the Water Screen Filter.

Water originally has the ability to absorb and dissolve and preserve VOCs but given time, the dissolved VOC molecules rises out to the air. To completely disintegrate the VOC molecules, you could destroy it in high temperature, use ozone, which is a strong oxidant to oxidize it, or chemically combine so the gaseous state gas transforms to liquid, or to solid.

First, high temperature disintegration requires a specialist with large installation of equipments like in a chemical plant.

Second, the ozone oxidation or the ion (ozone is usually generated by the ions) could be fatal due to inherent toxicity of ozone.

Thirdly, the chemical method has complex reactors and because of the residue left after reactions, it usually used in the chemical plants.

ChocChocii humidifier uses its traditional technology, Water Screen Filter, and this Water Screen Filter endlessly makes contacts with harmful gaseous elements, disintegrates, liquefies or solidifies these elements through its large filtering surface area.

The liquefied, or the solidified elements move up to the top of the filter surface stabilize after going through condensation.
